WA’s road safety strategies won’t work without cultural change
A staggering seven road fatalities over the weekend mean that 28 more people have died on WA roads compared to last year.
Commander Mike Bell from WA Police explained to 6PR’s Gary Adshead how a culture shift needs to happen for road safety initiatives to be effective.
“You need to change the beliefs, values, and assumptions of people to change their conduct,” he said.
