HAVE A CRACK
Article image for WATCH: Reluctant goalie Millsy faces 140kmh thunderbolts

It was Steve Mills who drew the short straw to be first up for 6PR Breakfast’s inaugural ‘Have a Crack’ challenge (watch the video below).

A loveable radio host and bookmaker, a sportsman Steve Mills is quite not, but he still accepted the challenge to go down to Perth Hockey Stadium, home of the Kookaburras and Hockeyroos, don the goalie gear and defend against dual Olympian and World Cup winner Chris Ciriello (195 Kookaburra caps), the first person in history to score a hat-trick in a World Cup Final who regularly flicks the ball at 140kmh.

Millsy was being coached on the sidelines by two of the world’s best goalkeepers in Andrew Charter and Jocelyn Bartram, and while Breakfast co-host Karl helped him get dressed into the goalie’s elaborate outfit.
