A major clean-up is underway in Perth’s south, after a water main burst flooded multiple streets in Success.

Residents initially believed the incident on Wentworth Parade, which occurred about 12.30am, believed it was a storm.

“They saw water gushing into the air about roof height, saying it was like a waterfall,” 9 News Perth reporter Sarah Smith said.

“The water down the street was up to their knees, it was just gushing down the road.”
