‘We no longer live in a free country’: Bikies rage over tattoo charges
The efficacy of arresting people for the tattoos they’re adorned with has been examined after three Rebels bikies were charged for flaunting theirs at a pool party.
Jamie Ginn, Jason Pettigrove and Jesse Copeman are the first people to be charged with displaying club insignia or logos in public, which lead Mr Ginn to unleash a furious rant to media in front of court.
King’s Council Tom Percy – who is not involved in the case – told Gary Adshead on 6PR Mornings there may be questions raised about the fairness of the laws if challenged in a higher court.
