Wedding weather woes: Couple’s 40-year wait culminates amidst cyclone chaos

As residents in Western Australia’s northern region braced for gale force winds and torrential rain, one couple finally celebrated a wedding after more than 40 years of anticipation.
Terry and Linda Curtis joined Julie-anne Sprague on 6PR Afternoons to recount the story of their wedding day, which was interrupted by ex-Tropical Cyclone Lincoln
“The generosity of local north-west people, they pulled together and helped us out to pull this whole thing off,” Ms Curtis said
“Looking back on it now, I don’t think we would change it for the world,” Mr Curtis added.
