Seeing off flashy interstate competitors, a recession, a global financial crisis and a pandemic while becoming one of WA’s leading hairdressers was no easy task.

Maurice Meade has stood the test of time and kept pace with the trends, becoming one of Perth’s most successful and iconic salons.

Together with his wife Rosemary, Maurice started a hair salon in Subiaco in 1974 and after great success expanded to eight salons in the Perth metro area.
