‘We’re not waiting around’ WA MP in epicentre of deadly Taiwan earthquake
WA MP Tania Lawrence is stuck in Taiwan after being caught up in yesterday’s 7-point-4 magnitude earthquake during a private trip to the island.
At least nine people have been killed and more than 900 have been injured.
Ms Lawrence and her husband were in their hotel room when the quake struck yesterday morning.
They escaped injury but told Gary Adshead says it’s been a difficult night.
