West Coast fly over Saints
The reigning Premiers are back in the top 8… for now as they downed St Kilda by 18 points at Marvel Stadium.
Despite the efforts of the Saints, the Eagles flexed their muscle and proved to good to run out winners 12.16 (88) to 10.10 (70).
Coach Adam Simpson looked frustrated at times during the match as the Saints closed within two goals late… but the Eagles held them off.
Josh Kennedy, Jack Petruccelle, Oscar Allen and Jamie Cripps all chipped in two goals while star mid Andrew Gaff amassed 30 disposals.
The Eagles next task is Melbourne under lights next Friday night.
