Kimberley candidate David Spackman has resigned from the Liberal Party after reports came to light of some inappropriate comments on his socials in the past.

Darren Spackman spoke to Perth Today host Simon Beaumont about how he recognises he is not always politically correct but still wants to stand up for his community and is now considering running as an independent.

In hindsight, I could have said things better, but at the end of the day, it still doesn’t change the problems that we’ve got today and there just not being addressed,” he said.
