Whistleblower doctor reveals ‘extreme risk’ of hospital relocation to women and babies
More than 150 clinicians, doctors and nurses have produced a report rejecting the State Government’s shock announcement to move the women and babies hospital next to Fiona Stanely instead of the QE2 site in Nedlands.
At the time of the announcement Health Minister Amber Jade Sanderson said she had not consulted with the clinicians justifying the move would save more than 200 million dollars.
A senior clinician at the Perth Children’s Hospital who has chosen to remain anonymous joined Oly Peterson on 6PR’s Perth Live to speak out against the planned relocation.
