Sports mad and a nature lover since young, thanks to his fathers passion for fishing and camping, ‘Thommo’ entered the world of journalism once his shot at studying law fell through.

“There was a guy, Barry Thornton at my cricket club who was the Chief of Staff at the Daily News Newspaper and he said ‘you know sports reporting is an interesting one’ and I thought that’ll be pretty interesting.”
