Why the budget will be a ‘slap in the face’ for young Aussies
It’s no secret the cost of living will be a key focus of the budgets, however, the National Union of Students say the budget will do nothing to help young Australians.
NUS WA Branch President Dylan Botica told Oliver Peterson on Perth Live too many students are living in poverty.
“Really what we need… is a 22 per cent increase and we know that this budget isn’t going to come anywhere near that so that just means young people are going to continue to live in poverty,” said Mr Botica.
