In the next four years, Western Australia will need to attract 30,000 construction workers in order to meet demand.

The return of the “£10 Pom” has been suggested as a solution, offering free flights, temporary accommodation incentives, and stamp duty relief to migrant skilled workers.

Hesperia director, Ben Lisle, says he is supportive of any idea that will get workers to come into the state.
