Former West Coast defender Will Schofield has taken aim at the lack of transparency from AFL clubs.

After West Coast brushed around the issues raised by Caroline Wilson on Monday Night, Schofield voiced his displeasure on Wide World of Sports during Tuesday’s program.

“Footy clubs can get on the front foot. They can control the narrative.”

“Here’s the question, here’s the answer.”

Schofield was vocal in his annoyance that this isn’t the case, arguing clubs create their own problems by not addressing certain issues head-on.

“Then you hear clubs kicking and screaming about the media and all the speculation.”

“Well they’re speculating because there’s no answers. Just give the answer. Whatever it is.”

“It’s industry-wide. It’s not just West Coast and Freo.”
