Today is the shortest day of the year!
Associate Professor Michael Brown, an astronomer at Monash University, joined Millsy & Karl today, on the shortest day of the year, to explain the winter solstice.
The winter solstice marks the day when the path of the sun in the sky is the farthest north in the Southern Hemisphere, resulting in longer nights and shorter days.
