An animal rescue volunteer who helped during the 2021 Wooroloo bushfire has slammed the Department of Public Persecution for dropping the charges.

Brian Foley says the animal rescue group he’s in spent months supporting the community after the bushfires.

“We just can’t believe why the DPP … has withdrawn the charges,” he told Gary Adshead.
