Yes campaigner labels those against the Voice as ‘racist, stupid’
At a forum in Bunbury, Yes campaigner Marcia Langton said people were opposing The Voice Referendum because of “base racism” and “sheer stupidity”.
Shadow Minister for Indigenous Affairs Jacinta Nampijinpa Price told Oly Peterson on 6PR’s Perth Live and suggested it’d be deeply insulting to suggest that Australians might be racist or stupid when it comes to decisions they make around how they vote in the upcoming referendum.

After Advance Australia spread the remarks, Langton told the conservative campaign group she did not accuse No voters of racism.
“I’m saying the claims being made by the No case are based in racism and stupidity – and appeal to racism and stupidity,” Langton said. “And they are appealing to Australians to frighten them into adopting highly racist and stupid beliefs.”
