Social media giant X (formally known as Twitter) is under fire for refusing to permanently take down footage of the Sydney church stabbing last week due to censorship concerns.

Cyber safety expert Susan McLean told Oliver Peterson on Perth Live footage of the terror attack should be “gone” and has no right to be on the internet.

“You really don’t have a right to watch someone being stabbed,” said Ms McLean.

“It’s not about my right to see it, it’s about the fact that whilst it stays there it further harms those impacted.”
