New research revealed by Aware Super demonstrates that young Australians have unrealistic expectations for retirement.

Peter Hog, Head of Advice Experience and Enhancements at Aware Super, told Jamie Burnett on Perth Live that more education is needed to better understand super.

“It’s really aspirational, and part of that, we feel might be to do with understanding the rules around Super, how much you might need and the complexity that sits behind it…and that’s certainly playing into what we found in the report,” Mr. Hog said.
